The Tower of Mages

The Tower of Mages, also called "La Tour de Sorciers" in Ronceauxien, is a large fortified tower that acts as a school for wizards from all over the world. It was commisioned in 707 GE by King Durand III, known as "The Wizard King", who wanted a place where he could hone his magical ability and gather all knowledge of the Aether in one place. It started as a small keep, but was built upward as hopeful would-be wizards came from far and wide and was willing to pay well to be introduced to the secrets within.
