Viñedo Negro

On the west coast of the Zashoan peninsula lies a city that was once a thriving merchant harbour in the kingdom of Zashoana. After the fall of the kingdom during the Second War of Ashes the city became an independent city state, taken over by pirates, who still rule there in the Silver Epoch. "The Black Wineyard" started in the Golden Epoch as a community built around a wineyard that made one of the most coveted wines in all of south western Sildair. The city was occupied by the forces of Ashagor the Despoiler during the Second War of Ashes, and after he died, the city was ruled by a ruthless orc general, who had been the one to capture it. He was overthrown by an alliance of pirate captains and local citizens, who then established a counsil to rule over the city.
