A rubber genie’s able to channel the pink mist energy in their body to create and manipulate rubber, be it creating balloons, pool toys, or taking control of rubber. While it is standard latexmancy, the genies do like to add a little flair and mysticism to go with the whole genie aspect. This is often an ability used to grant wishes, however they can use this outside of wish granting.Wish Fulfillment
Saying the words ‘I Wish’ is bound to get a rubber genie’s attention. Should they want to or find themselves unable to ignore the call to grant it. A genie will use their rubber magic to fulfill the wish in the most rubbery way possible. They will almost always find a rubbery solution, though it might not exactly be the way the person expects their wish to be fulfilled. In most cases it’s more likely to end up resulting in rubber encasement or a rubber transformation. There may be no limit to how many wishes but it's quite rare for a genie to let you get more than a couple before they have their own fun with you and your wording.Rubber Transformation

When very playful a rubber genie might transform someone into a rubber genie temporarily allowing them to grant wishes and play with rubber magic as well. It usually wears off after a few days, unless they are lucky and the genie wants to invite them into the ranks of rubber genies. A fairly powerful power of the rubber genie and one that requires significant effort to perform. A genie is able to create its own private space in which they have absolute control. These spaces are considered special to them and time flows differently inside. Often these spaces are created within a rubber object, be it a ball, a pool toy, or something else the genie finds special. Inside the space is massive. A genie can bring others into the space as well, however only the genie can leave and enter at will. Anyone else will need to be guided.Basic Information
Anatomy
The body of a rubber genie has only two defining characteristics. First, it is made out of a rubber or latex material completely. They are not biological life and have no blood, bones, or flesh in their bodies, but only rubber and air. The second fact is that their bodies are nourished by magic from the Pink Mist.
Rubber genies are unique in that what defines them is not a set shape but rather their makeup. While most rubber genies appear human-like, they are not bound to such a form. A rubber genie could be human, could be an anthropomorphic creature, or any other race, or alter their shape as they desire. Genies tend to pick feminine forms often because that makes them more alluring to potential wishers. What defines a rubber genie is that its body is made up of pink mist-infused rubber that’s been given life. Some could be solid rubber, and others could be hollow inside using air or other substances to fill out their body, this mostly depends on what they were before being transformed or if transformed by a genie, the preference of said genie that transformed them.
Genetics and Reproduction
Rubber genies do not reproduce normally, since they do not reproduce through sexual means. They rarely seek to grow their population, though they can do so by transforming others into rubber genies as well. The majority of the growth of the rubber genie population is simply the result of the pink mist infusing rubber objects and bestowing life upon them. In this process, a Lost Soul finds its way into the material world and gives life to a formerly inanimate object. This may be a pool toy, a latex puppet, a beach ball, or any other object made out of rubber or latex.
Growth Rate & Stages
Rubber Genies, similar to most Golem species, have no growth and do not mature after their birth. They are born as full adults.
Ecology and Habitats
Due to their compulsion to grant wishes, Rubber genies thrive wherever there is a high population of people that they can grant wishes to and/or play with. Cities and urban areas are preferred by them, or areas with a high amount of travelers coming through. Being made of rubber the genies are also more inclined to more warm or temperate climates, avoiding areas that see more extreme temperatures. Those who have more fascination with pool toys will also gravitate towards areas with rivers or beaches.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Rubber genies pull their nutrition directly from Pink Mist. They do not require food, or even to absorb the energy of others as long as there is a constant flow of pink mist energies in their area. Their bodies take in pink mist energy naturally over time. They can take in huge amounts of energy as well if they wish to, but that may have consequences, due to the chaotic nature of the energies, like a sudden urge to hunt or a hypnotic state. Most unknownly are drawn towards areas with a high concentration of these chaotic energies. The fact that they are born out of lost souls from the pink mist, means they are born in areas with high pink mist concentrations anyway.
Their energy storage has limits and if they extensively use their abilities, they are melting away their reserves and will need to refill.
Behaviour
Rubber genies are by nature social and playful. They feel a compulsion to act like genies of legends and grant wishes. Some genies are strict and waiting for the magical words “I wish” while others are more liberal and granting desires stated plainly. So long as they can reasonably accommodate a wish with rubber, they will feel compelled to do so; however, unlike genies of legend, they have no obligation to do so and can resist the compulsion. Being playful in nature, many genies find compelled to twist said wishes and desires in order to have more fun. This is often done to provide more fun for the wisher or themselves by making use of less specific wishes. It is extremely rare that a genie would corrupt a wish in order to punish someone.
Being powerful beings, rubber genies often have a dominant nature and tend to have a bit of an ego. That being said though, to them what matters most is having fun, so they lean less towards being cruel and masochistic unless desired by their play partners. A rubber genie also tends to be fairly clever, particularly in the realm of wishes. They can often see many different ways they can grant a wish, or twist it depending on how a person word it. They however aren’t mind readers and aren’t guaranteed to be able to accurately satisfy a wish all the time even when they desire to. Some genies even develop a desire to form a harem of playmates whom they have grown fond of bringing into their personal dimensions. Otherwise, they enjoy hunting and trapping people in balloons and other rubber objects, as well as turning people into said objects.
Most rubber genies tend to behave depending on what kind of object they were before their transformation. Former pool toys tend to be more playful, while former sex puppets are often more flirty and adventurous. They have memories of being objects after their birth and often seek out their former owner as their first prey. At this point, most genies are acting on impulse and it is often the case that they transform their former masters permanently in one way or the other, including letting them become rubber genies themselves.

Social Structure
There is no set society among rubber genies, as there aren’t many of them, and tend to move about. They do tend to recognize and get along well with each other and have respect for Shintani, the first rubber genie. When they do encounter each other, they like to have some fun but before long go their separate ways. While they may occasionally enter competitions with each other, it is very rare for them to take serious issues with each other.
In society as a whole, despite a rough history in Slimea’s early days, they now actively participate in Slimean society, and are seen as entertainers and even celebrities.
Rubber genies by nature are skilled latexmancers and often gravitate towards anything that lets them use their powers. Given also a more playful nature, they often find themselves as hunters or entertainers, with a few toy makers and other rubber production jobs. Of course, also given their name, they love to do some wish fulfillment as well.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Most rubber genies are born around Neueisen in the Slimean Lands due to the high pink mist concentration there and the availability of rubbery items that can be infused by the magic.
It is common that rubber genies stays close to their place of birth, as they quickly find themselves good hunting grounds or a community that takes them in. But there are exceptions. Some rubber genies leave their area of birth and wander through the world to either find new adventures, or new friends along the way.
Average Intelligence
As sneaky and dangerous as they seem, they are not that intelligent compared to an average human. Rubber genies are born from rubbery items and never visited schools or had the luxury of growing up in this world. Most of them are naive and do know not too much about the world itself, the nations, or the common traditions. They are quick learners however and due to their memories of their times as simple items, they can speak the language of their owners in the moment of their birth.

Rubber genies copy the sensory properties of Humans due to their closeness to them. They have no special sensory capabilities known.
Civilization and Culture
History
Rubber Genies have a relatively short history. As there are only a few genies as well as the fact that their origins mean little to them. The first rubber genie was created by Larissa, the Goddess of Latex. In an effort to gain more power, she tried to capture pink mist within a balloon. However, this instead resulted in the balloon becoming infused with pink mist and was given life. This balloon became the first rubber genie, Shintani. Since then, most rubber genies were given birth by similar means, objects becoming infused by the mists and given life.
Today, there are several rubber genies living in the Slimean Lands and even some outside of it.
