The highest rank in the heirarchy is the king. Followed by the royal family, who serve different roles. The Queen helps with banking. The children will spend the majority of their time with the people understanding their wants and needs. This helps the king know what the people need.

However, this family structure will vary from king to king and occasional not actually have any importance. Sometimes this structure is completely ignored by the king and the people only see the children from afar.

Below the king are the nobles he has in his kingdom. Usually lords who have large plots of land. The lords help with commerce and supply merchants with the money and needs to trade in various towns or kingdoms.

Culture

Jingtans, although honorable, can be violent. Many times to show happiness or to wish someone congratulations there is a hard slap in the head or back. Usually more depending on the occasion.Along with this congratulatory slapping, there are "Jovial Fists", "Welcoming Embraces," and "Cheerful Smothering."

Jingtans are also somewhat strict when it comes to honor and respect. First, don't shame someone's work without proof. This is seen as disrespecting the maker's hard work. Second, don't smack talk anyone in a non-competative environment. This is dishonoring a person by showing disregard for basic human manners.

The "Burial, Remembrance, Honor" system is still done and generally associated to the Jingtans.
