An'Báx / Kaana (Ahn-bAHks / Kah-nah)
The False Star
Just like its partner moon, Báx, An'Báx is frequently forgotten. It glows a brighter white than its partner, and so is sometimes mistaken as an especially large or bright star.
The Solesian name for An'Báx literally translates to "not Báx". The moons look so similar that they are commonly mistaken for one another.
In some depictions, An'Báx is the child of one or two of the circular moons (usually Ovali and/or Wyn). It is also commonly depicted as the sibling of Báx. It does not have significant presence in any mythos and is commonly ignored in lunar calendars and astronomical diagrams.
Appearance
An'Báx is oblong in shape and is pure white. Its surface sparkles like snow and is riddled with small craters. It orbits so quickly around the planet that it is hardly in the sky for long, and is often misinterpreted as a very large star or distant planet.
