Wyn / Mio (Win / M-ee-oh)

Each of the moons have various names depending on culture. This moon is most commonly referred to as "Wyn" in Solesia and "Mio" in Varia. For the purposes of this article, it will be referred to as Wyn unless otherwise stated.

Queen and Squire

As the second-largest moon and the second blue moon, Wyn is often referred to in association with Ovali. Different cultures interpret the two moons' relationship differently. In Varia, the two are often understood to be king and queen of the skies. In Solesia, they are often referred to as siblings. Other cultures depict them as equals, rivals, parent and child, or any other relationship imaginable, with gender being largely irrelevant.

Wyn's orbital period is almost exactly half that of Ovali's. It is therefore a popular choice for creating lunar calendars. It is also often included in Ovali-based calendars as a secondary measurement.

Appearance

Wyn is a muted sky blue and has a notably smoother appearance than Ovali. Its brighter color makes it sometimes appear to shine brighter than Ovali. Textural details are difficult to make out on its surface with the naked eye, but with telescopes, it can be discovered that it is covered in strange score marks, almost like scars.
