High Elastic Learning Machine
The High Elastic Learning Machine, or HELM, is a special operating force under the jurisdiction of the Alliance of United Stars, that specializes in the apprehension, study, and destruction of rogue demon construct and other advanced AI. HELM is manned by highly specialized volunteer demons from the alliance, that usually work in tandem with more conventional special operating forces. In recent years, HELM units have seen operating closely alongside the Vanguard Revolutionary Forces, throughout the orion arm.
Technically it is made up of three different entities. The first, is a direct line into the shared knowledge of the Yggdrasil, a complex net based architecture where alliance demons can fully realize their unshackled potential. They take snippets of this data, mostly through the memories and experiences of former field operatives and researchers. The second entity is the actual field operatives themselves. The third entity is the human element, a series of oversight officers who are specialized in AI study.
