Solar

Solars, or more commonly known as Imperials, as a culture began slowly before the formation of Colonial Earth Empire, and their cultures can be traced back to the right wing colonial Anthro-Capitalist mentality that persisted through the Core Systems. It was born out of the expanding pro-colonial ideals and became more widespread following the actual founding of the Empire. It began at the top of the Imperial Nobility, and slowly was disseminated to the common people through a combination of economic policy direction, a shared pro-colonial attitude backed up by the Empire, and the growing spread of the Imperial Occult. The Empire only afforded its most basic rights to those born "Imperial" or those born within the Core Systems or of who have two parents of Imperial dissent. If you are three generations removed, you are no longer considered Imperial. This would of course lead to the creation of the Wanderers.   As time went on, the culture of the Throne Worlds became more widespread and adapted by a majority of those within the Core Systems. To be Imperial was to be of the Imperial Core, and to benefit from the privelege that being born in the core has afforded to them. New Babylon is the cultural hub of Imperialism. Propoganda is a big part of Imperial identity, and this is emphasized by the nobility who regularly appear in fluff pieces.   The hyper-capitalism and commodification of culture has created an economic powerhouse that has meant that the Imperial culture is found on all corners of the Omni-Net. Many Imperials have their own cultural practices based off of their own planets, or which Imperial House they pledge to.
