SoLA Session 2: 'When what to my wandering eyes should appear'

The coterie headed off towards Griffith Observatory to retrieve the blood of a sleepwalking mage, Ezekiel's spirits indicating that a mage was in the area that night. They discovered a whole camp of stargazers from San Francisco there, perhaps used as cover by the visiting mages to discourage any supernatural shenanigans. Inside the observatory they managed to push through the enchantments and barriers to have an audience with the local Tremere Primogen Maximillian Strauss, who seemed more curious than angry about the coterie's surprise visit. When hearing about the group's mission he agreed to let them work in peace that night so long as they did a small task for him. Ezekiel agreed and managed to resurrect the spirit of a Tremere killed in Las Vegas several months ago, confirming information about the kindred's death for Strauss. With the favor completed the coterie started searching through the crowds for anybody showing any signs of sleepwalking, and sure enough a college student named Tanya seemed to be having otherwordly visions while stargazing. K managed to distract Tanya's roommate while the other kindred lured Tanya into the observatory, John organizing an impromptu ritual to draw some of her blood for the Platinum Blonde's wishlist. The mission was supposed to be a quick fetch quest, but the coterie may have found themselves in a little too deep as Ezekiel started to ghoul the sleepwalker and John found a new touchstone starting to form between him and the mage. The mages of San Francisco would not be pleased to discover one of their own falling into the hands of vampires, but Strauss agreed to distract the Consilium long enough for the coterie to prepare some contingencies and defenses. Gilda Frost fed on a hapless stargazer before leaving Griffith Park, and the rest of the coterie picked up a drug dealer to-go near the Hollywood strip. John only intended on feeding for a nonlethal amount of time, but Ezekiel brought the dealer back to their haven in Beverly Hills for a very lethal meal. K would have some words with him later about his eating habits.
