Simple Lightweapons

A traditional weapon of force users, lightweapons are made by housing a kyber crystal inside a metal frame that filters and focuses a high intensity plasma blast through a containment field in order to create a blade-like surface that can cut into almost any material. These designs were made for those still learning in the ways of the force and for individuals that may not be as physically adept in martial abilities.

Canesaber
Often used by older force wielders, the canesaber is a modified version of a lightsaber that has a detachable metal rod which, while attached, can serve as a walking aide. The design has an added benefit of making the weapon less likely to be detected by others allowing for one to carry it in places otherwise forbidden.
Cost: 700 Creds Weight: 5 Lbs. Damage: 1d6 Energy
Properties: Disguised, Finesse, Luminous

Lightclub
Preferred by some larger races, the lightclub has a wider frame which creates a thickened blade about twice the width of a standard saber. This allows the user to take advantage of their strength and dominate a fight with physical force.
Cost: 150 Creds Weight: 5 Lbs. Damage: 1d10 Energy
Properties: Luminous, Two-Handed

Lightdagger
Even smaller than the shotosaber, a lightdagger is made with kyber shards rather than full crystals. These were often made in times when kyber mining was unavailable, whether that be due to lack of supply or other reasons. There have even been documented instances, in extreme times of war, where light daggers were made by shattering one lightsaber crystal to make several lightdaggers.
Cost: 100 Creds Weight: 1 Lb. Damage: 1d4 Energy
Properties: Finesse, Hidden, Light, Luminous, Thrown (20/60)

Lightsaber
The traditional form of lightweapon, it is the base device which force users are trained on during apprenticeship. While the physical design and decoration may vary, both sith and jedi have trained with these for aeons.
Cost: 200 Creds Weight: 3 Lbs. Damage: 1d6 Energy
Properties: Hidden, Luminous, Versatile (1d8)

Shotosaber
A compact version of a lightsaber, the shotosaber was designed for smaller races who would find it hard to use a saber with a longer blade. Some jedi have adapted its use for an off-hand secondary weapon due to its higher agility compare to a default saber.
Cost: 500 Creds Weight: 2 Lbs. Damage: 1d6 Energy
Properties: Finesse, Hidden, Light, Luminous

Wristsaber
A lighter version of the saber gauntlet, the wristsaber sacrifices power for ease by redirecting the power containment field to protect the user's hand from accidental contact with high intensity plasma. This protects those with less martial training that may not have the nimble reflexes required to avoid self-contact that is possible with lightweapons like the gauntlet.
Cost: 1,000 Creds Weight: 2 Lbs. Damage: 1d4 Energy
Properties: Finesse, Fixed, Light, Luminous
