Do You Want To Buy Some Artifacts?

General Summary

Aha! I knew you'd want the cliffhanger! And let me assure you, the followup is satisfying...
  • The group quickly wins over the remaining enemies, especially when their commander surrenders.
  • The commander is quite concerned about Asha, who capitalizes on his fears.
  • There is a bidding war going on for the ruins located in the mine. This group hoped to steal it and sell the goods.
  • The prisoners are loaded onto the ship, and the group decides the best option is to take the very dangerous items from the mine in a way that makes it clear no one can buy them anymore. If they can convince people a Sith already has them, more to the better.
  • After some repairs and resting, the group manages to harpoon and tractor beam the tank.
  • They get into the air, comm Master Alize, and give a group report.
  • They return to the mine, and convince the miners they should go first into the ruins due to the hazards.
  • The ruins are really Rakatan ruins. Getting in is easy, and much of it is useless.
  • However, the group discovers a door! With a stasis field! Tor'vir thinks mean thoughts and powers up the computer next to the stasis field. Amur and Niwadi hack it, with Asha translating.
  • They manage to get most of the data from the computer and get the door open!
  • Inside is a room full of robotic control and a large transparasteel wall and a very large angry tentacle trying to get free of restraints. It seems to have some sort of crystal flower and a lightsaber beam?
  • Gridtok, Tor'vir, and Asha go into the second room to investigate the tentacle. They investigate, and Asha tries to control it and gets all bloody for her efforts, and eventually everyone agrees turning off the power source is the right move, and they have Niwadi turn it off, which kills the tentacle.
  • Everyone gathers stuff and heads out of the mine. The miners are waiting and want the stuff. Negotiations ensue.
  • Asha comms Petrarch to tell him "Darth Almalga" has the stuff now. The group agrees to leave the captives at another city at the Bumani Exchange office.
  • Back to home base they head.
Now how is that for a plot? Am I right? Look, I can sell you the whole set, 10,000 credits. Makes a great story, sets up your whole shabang, gets everyone wondering what will happen next? Yes? Yes?
