Shimmerstone

Shimmerstone is a small town on Torunga roughly 800 kilometers south of Torport Prime. The town has less than 100 people in it, and the community mainly exists to support the nearby Shimmerstone Mine.
Prominent Citizens:

• Daymar Brimarch, son of Greyson Brimarch - Owns the largest share in the mine, and the defacto Mayor. In over his head, nervous, earnest.
• Radjuya - Daughter of Kolka. Bitter, Jaded, Wants to give up on the mine and buy enough transport to get her family somewhere new.

March, 55 ATC Update:  When a local mercenary group took over the Shimmerstone mine, The town sought help from a group of Jedi that had recently arrived in Torport Prime.  The Jedi were able to route the mercenaries, and discover the reason why they were interested in the mines to begin with.  It turns out the mines had an old Rakata ruin, and there are several individuals who are paying a great deal for ancient relics from that era on the black market.  The Jedi took the most dangerous technology, but left most of the items in the ruins for the people of shimmerstone sort and sell.  They also made arrangements to continue protecting the mine in exchange for a portion of the mine's Xonolite production.  The Jedi were also kind enough to repair some of the miner's transports, and gave them a couple speeder bikes which had once belonged to the mercanaries.
