Hysteria 19: "Now I Know Jealousy"
General Summary
On the morning of June 7th, Hinata makes uneasy peace with Charlotte Ponce after she offers him the protection of Internal Affairs given his status as a high-value target due to holding the temporavox. After assisting with the evacuation of Torrentia in the wake of Wei's coup, Hinata seeks to piss off Ruben with the help of Astrea and Céline. After spending the night with Tak, Torsten makes a chance discovery with his Nebulite powers that Tak has been cheating on him with Mitsuru and Hinata. Heartbroken, he wanders into a fungal forest in Mont-de-Marsan.
After catching up with him, Torsten demands a reason for Hinata's betrayal, but he can't come up with anything satisfying. Tak is greatly upset, and foretells that she and Torsten will be gone soon, and that that she may never see Hinata again due to her allegiance to forces allied with the Siliconians, but promises she'll try to return someday regardless. That night, Torsten makes his move, taking all the pilots hostage and demanding the location of the Temporavox. Hinata volenteers the information that he has it, leaving with Torsten to be abducted in order to save the others lives. Charlotte tries to save Hinata, but fails. At the last moment before an ambush, Hinata talks Torsten out of continuing his abduction, and is saved.
