Hysteria 20: "Oyasumi Hinata"
General Summary
Wei is torn between personal and professional duties as Hinata meets with her after the hostage situation, as she is hesitant to deploy Hinata in battle after his recent traumatic experiences. After seeing Charlotte in a vulnerable state, he seeks comfort with Tak and Mitsuru, and Tak shares plans for a staged betrayal in which she can be stopped by Hinata so she can maintain diplomatic ties back home. After a day of relaxation and a final band practice aboard Nova Base, Siliconian forces attack.
Hinata successfully stops Tak, trusting in her plan and letting her 'escape', parting them at last. As TSSFs are deployed, Hinata and the rest of Crow Flight stop an attack on the base's communications systems, only for the battle to turn south. With the help of Celestine and the Temporavox, Hinata transmits the location of the Siliconian's hidden Hive Sovereign ship to Astrea in the past, changing the outcome of the battle enough for a successful escape from Torrentia. As Iris Lorieux arrives with her fleet to assist in the escape, Hinata loses himself in hedonistic escapism from the situation, ending up in Charlotte Ponce's bed. After some hesitation, she knocks him out and kidnaps him.
