ST2600 3: "You and Whose Army?"
General Summary
In the wake of Adrian's attack, Anita and Lyra vie for Zhilan's loyalty. GUSF captain Iris Lorieux suspects there's something wrong in Cydonia, and ensign Alan O'Toole begs his sister Annabelle to join the GUSF, revealing that she has the requisite rare genetic immunity to psionics. After confiding in her sister, Zhilan sides with Lyra while making a plan to whistleblow on the security risks with Synchronicity to the GUSF.
Nicole removes Eve's compliance chip at her apartment, prompting questions into her odd behavior. Edgar reveals his knowledge of Annabelle's compliance chip to her, bringing them closer as Edgar invites her to a meeting with Nicole, who has been developing the Synch-hole malware in secret under the Two-tails moniker, and implores them for their help.
The next day, Anita initiates an interrogation of Nicole after a witness from the False Reality calls her alibi into question. Eve, prompted to intrude in Nicole's mind, finds that she is indeed a operative serving the Social Republic, but refuses to cooperate with Anita, instead constructing lies to keep Nicole safe. Seeing a vision of mercenaries approaching the False Reality to nab Daiyu, the party rushes there to neutralize them.
