Synch-hole
The Synch-hole is complex and widely accessible virtual space ruled by complex artificial intelligences. It is a remnant of the Synchronicity Project.
Creation
The Synch-hole was created in 2600 C.E. by a team of Social Republic aligned hackers under the "Two-tails" moniker. They created sophisticated malware to destroy Cydonia Manufacturing's Synchronicity Project. Their efforts were largely a success, shattering Synchronicity into thousands of subdomains, each ruled by rogue AIs and filled with encrypted data. These subdomains are collectively referred to by the name of the malware used to create them - the "synch-hole".Use
All major corporations and governments, including Cydonia, have advised against attempting to connect or explore the Synch-hole, but many users have postulated benefits that could be gained from exploring it, including access to sensitive company information, personal data, or blockchain validations that could grant Cydonia currency. Some subdomains of the synch-hole highly resemble the normal virtual space of the Synchronicity Project.
