Kingdom of Bithrop
The Kingdom of Bithrop is the the most populated and perhaps the most powerful country on the Erdean continent of Phelux.
Territories
Bithrop's territory extends from the north Narrow Sea to the Morskrin Plains at its southern border. The sea completely borders the country's westernmost border while the Barskcrag Mountains and Eldritch Wastes border it to the east.
Much of Bithrop rests within the Thaile Woodlands, which are is relatively temperate forest.
Military
Bithrop's military power is well known and regarded throughout Phelux (and Erde, to a lesser degree) as being highly capable and well trained. Men and women are conscripted for two years upon reaching adulthood and many see service in the military as one of the more prestigious professions.
Foreign Relations
The Kingdom of Bithrop maintains healthy diplomatic relations with the Rahulik Empire, United State of Savaan, Shogunate of Hexie, and the The Vieus Empire. It also trades frequently with other countries across the Narrow Sea, maintaining connections to the various nations through economic and diplomatic influence.
Agriculture & Industry
Due to the nature of the Thaile Woodlands being less dense than other Erdean forests, sizeable portions of the forests have been cleared for farming and agricultural use. This is especially noticeable in the villages surrounding Lake Monticon, where irrigation has turned the farmlands into impressive production hubs of crops and livestock.
Trade & Transport
Bithrop has an extensive carriage and transport system, capable of getting passengers across the kingdom at great expediency. The carriages relay in villages, swapping out horses and riders, allowing for overnight travel which cuts down the time of travel and deliveries considerably.
