Prime World Disk
The Prime World Disk also known as the Primis Orbis Mundus is a disk shaped realm at the center of the Subsolem Septem.
Its surface is rough and textured as well as inwardly curved like a bowl with the edges being more elevated than its center and within it many lands are found.
The Scorched Lands is a name used for the surface of this realm while the regions under its surface are called the Deeplands or Sunless Depths.
The Prime World Disk is home to a great variety of biomes and climate zones but since the onset of the Bright no large bodies of water can be found on its surface anymore.
All oceans and great rivers have dried up making the surface far more inhospitable than it previously was and causing a millenia spanning mass migration to the Deeplands usually referred to as the Great Exodus.
Now, 20.000 years since the onset of the Bright there are once more many civilizations spanning the surface which have adapted to its conditions.
The Prime World Disk's surface is made up primarily of hot lands scorched by the rays of the the Seven Suns with the coldest regions being warm and temperate and ice and snow being entirely unknown.
Much of the lands of the Scorched Lands are now arid deserts, savannahs and plains but enclaves of forests can be found where the sapient people of the world or unique environmental circumstances permit it.
The people of the Prime World Disk do are largely unaware of their position within the cosmology of the Subsolem Septem; the edges of the disk are hidden beyond near impassable mountains where the bowl rises.
