The Breathtaking Beauty

The stunning muse of countless artists across the world Amaranth is the goddess of undiluted beauty, purity, and innocence of youth. Amaranth is famed for her breathtaking image and due to this Bards have tried and failed since the beginning of time to find the words that could do the Goddess's beauty justice. It is said that mortals cannot look upon her without being enchanted.
They say at birth white roses and lotus flowers bloomed around her cot. It was obvious from that moment that Amaranth would be a swell child that brightened the day of everyone. From her smile to her helpful attitude she was praised by the gods.

Amaranth seemed to spend time with any god as they all seemed to be enamored with her. Amaranth was so beloved by the gods that they sent her father Lodern to visit everything in creation and ask it to swear an oath not to harm her and they all agreed.
From the moment Amaranth first set eyes on Talos she was stunned by its natural beauty instantly falling in love with the land. This love quickly extended to Yoshio as Amaranth saw this beauty was formed and taken care of by the goddess in front of her. After learning all she could from her father Amaranth descended down to Talos this time alone and swore her allegiance to Yoshio wanting to follow in her steps. Yoshio accepted her as her apprentice and together they worked to make Talos the best it could be. As she was taught Yoshino’s ways she is associated with treants, but most especially with unicorns, the guardians of nature and purest of beasts.

Artifacts

Heart of Gold: Said to be a golden charm or necklace that Amaranth always kept on herself, it is said after spending an unfathomable amount of time near the heart of the Goddess her purity now radiates from the item. Tales tell of even the vilest men changing their ways after coming in contact with the Heart of Gold.

Tenets of Faith

Amaranth only hopes that her followers approach the world with the same childlike innocence, curiosity, and imagination that she always does. Through this she hopes to keep Talos pure and beautiful.

Holidays

The blessing of Green: Martherum 8th: Most citizens flock to the closest church to pray to Marluxia, Amaranth, and Yoshino in hopes of a good planting season / bloom. Many church services are free or half off in an act of benevolence in hopes of the gods to the same. Around this time many fortune tellers gather at cities and towns as some people tend to ask about the upcoming crops.

History

To no ones surprise Lodern followed in Strahl's footsteps of being an attentive doting father. Lodern and Rylai had truly created the most beautiful child the universe had ever seen. Many say that the universe actually stopped for a moment just to gaze upon Amaranths beauty. Amaranth's beauty brought together more gods and goddess then ever before as everyone wanted to meet the new baby of the heavens. It was here where the gods devised a plan to always keep this goddess pure and safe. After this meeting Lodern left his daughters side for the first time as he went off to visit every thing in creation and ask it to swear an oath not to harm her until they all agreed. They say the love this father and daughter share is so pure that it makes Primoria weep.

History

As the embodiment of revenge many doubted how Rylai would be with a child of her own, not just this but how would the child be would it be a being of rage or peace ? All were speechless after seeing Rylai and her daughter Amaranth, as rumors of Amaranths beauty begun to flow through the cosmos as to did rumors of Rylais pledge to get revenge on any who even thought ill thoughts of her precious daughter. Though Lodern took the role of main caretaker Rylai was always close with her daugher stopping in as often as she could between her searches for Zalaria and Dhar'kamish.

History

Yoshino and Amaranth are the perfect student/teacher pair with the unending love they both have for Talos and its natural inhabitance. Amaranth has been enamored with Yoshino since she saw Yoshino creating a new type of plant to fill the lands with, even though she was young Amaranth immediately asked if she could help. Yoshino seeing the wonder in the young goddess eyes gave her a Lodern a bag of seeds to spread throughout the lands together. ( This is the reason the plant is still called Amaranth to this day. ) This moment never left Amaranths mind and as soon as she could she set out to find Yoshio and pledge herself to the goddess. Even after all this time Yoshio immediately recognized the goddess and allowed Amaranth to stay and learn her ways.
