Freeholders Hall

Freeholders Hall is a residential district adjacent to the Mushroom Farms, where most of the residents spend their days cultivating crops. Cultivating mushrooms is turning out to be a very profitable profession, especially for those farmers able to a large harvest from their freehold every few months. Some rare families have been doing so for several generations and are now with the demand for mushrooms spiking are ending up quite well-off. Others are newer to the business and are trying to turn a modest living. The mushroom farms were a small thing some families were already doing as a hobby but it exploded in popularity during the wars as it is now one of the main ways used to feed the people of Stonespine.
One family always saw the value in the mushrooms, the Stonegardners. The clan was one of the first freeholders and has long been the most successful cultivators in the city. One might expect a more experienced clan living among the up-and-comers would hide their secrets, but, in fact, they are highly respected in the community for their willingness to share their knowledge and secrets to help other freeholding families improve their yields. This guidance and assistance of others is a tradition the Stonegardners regard as their clan's sacred duty.
