A God of Battle

Kriegen is a leader among warriors who revere his strength and physical prowess. Kreigen is better known as a god of straightforward, no-nonsense action. Strength is the solution to all problems, and threats must be dealt with swiftly, decisively, and fully. Kreigen’s ruthlessness in battle and distinct savagery against opponents might give some pause, but this quick-tempered god protects at all costs. Similarly, followers of Kreigen are expected to be people of action, strength, and battle.
Kriegen is said to be able to take the forms of all manner of beast or man-beast hybrid, he is said to take the best form needed to hunt down his current prey. For you see Kriegen is always on the hunt and there is never a time where prey or battle isn't on his mind. With his shapeshifting abilities and the animals, he turns into many lycanthropes who consider Kriegen to be their divine father, as do some other intelligent predators.

A battlefield leader

Do not let his animalistic side fool you for the god of War is a master tactician on the battlefield, always looking for an opportunity to outwit his enemy and take advantage of their weakness. Between his strength and ability to read the battlefield Kriegen was an obvious choice to lead multiple legions in the First War.

Artifacts

Kriegen's Trophies - Any follower of the war god can tell you the tales of his most prized possessions, his trophies. Krigen rarely came across any that he considered a worthy foe but those who he deemed worthy earned the god's respect and would always be remembered. To never forget one of these warriors Kriegen would take a tooth as a trophy for a memorable battle and add it to his pouch that he always keeps close. Tales say that each of these trophies still holds the power and even soul of the fallen warriors making them highly sought after.

Tenets of Faith

Kreigen does not have a set of laws per se. He does not mandate that certain behaviors be followed. Kriegen has but one philosophy, and it is all he asks from his followers."Victory." Failure is akin to death. If one fails in a battle or a war, then they have died and can no longer protect what is important.

Holidays

Blood hunt: 1st-8th of Krag: The first of the month marks the first day of the hunt as all groups who are going to participate in the hunt must meet at the town square. After this, all groups head out and have a week to bring back either a live vicious creature or the head of the deadliest creature the group can slay the winning group is rewarded with a feast and several rewards as the mightier the beast handled during the hunt the better blessing everyone should get in the hunts for the next month from Kriegen.

History

Yoshio and Kriegen didn't see eye to eye when first meeting while they were defenders of Talos they did not agree with each other's ways. Yoshino found Kriegen to be too violent and Kreigen felt that Yoshino was too forgiving giving those that have harmed the land a second chance. Eye though they didn't share each other's views they knew each was an important protector of Talos and found side by side many times due to this. After a time the two would even grow to be friends slowly Yoshino's calmer nature rubbed off on Kriegen keeping him level-headed in the heat of battle, and Kriegen's courageous nature rubbed off on Yoshino giving her more confidence and strength. The two eventually fell for each other and together would bring the god Vastile into the Universe.

History

Unlike most father's Hymmion would meet his son for the first time on a battlefield, this is all thanks to Kriegen's mother Evamire who gave the young god over to Noctus to be raised against the other gods. Hymmion thankfully lead an assault saving his son, it seems that however fast it may have been being under Noctus presence did affect the child. When he was young Kriegen was angry and destructive always lashing out and trying to fight. Hymmion was surprised by his son's actions but did the best he could and in the end came up with a plan. Hymmion would help his son tame this darkness having Kriegen focus his anger into battle. After this Kriegen slowly became a different person until Hymmion felt ready to show him Talos in all its beauty, Kriegen was amazed and the two started to bond over helping the land and mortals. As Kriegen grew he began to look after the beast of Talos specifically making sure the evil that once tainted him doesn't do the same to those on Talos. The father-son duo proved themselves again and again during the first was but are best known for teaming up together to banish Asmodeus out of the sky and down into the Nine Hells.

History

Kriegen doesn't have any true memories of his mother just a feeling, the feeling of all-encompassing darkness. This is the same feeling that made Kriegen lash out as a child always afraid anything would bring its return, this is the same feeling Kriegen still channels on the battlefield ready to make sure nothing else has to experience that darkness. Some have said that during the First War the mother and son met on the battlefield instantly recognizing each other Evamire stopped right in her tracks while Kriegen ran right past her without a second look.

History

A father and son relationship that rivals even Strahl and Lordern. From his first moment, Vastile has always admired his father and has done everything he can to follow in his steps. As soon as he was able to Kreigen began training his son and Vastile took right to loving every moment. There was only one lesson the two didn't agree on, Vastile valued honor above all and didn't believe some of the military tactics Kreigen used as honorable. Once Vastile was ready the pair began protecting Talos side by side normally turning battles into a competition. They continued on like this until the First War where the two both became legendary leaders who were terrifying to verse on the battlefield.
