I thought I'd never have another experience quite like it. And I wouldn't have it if not for the city of Tor Yvresse. As our carts drew closer the sounds of music filled the air. There was a market nearby bustling with activity, and the smells, oh the smells of food were absolutely intoxicating. It's said that half the bards of Talos count Tor Yvresse as their home and Hymmion as their god and who can blame them. I only spent a few days there but as I left my heart was gripped with a sadness like I had left a loved one behind."

Ruler of the Skies

Hymmion conceived of music and dance, so that stories could be expressed and celebrated with joy and harmony. He then created art to capture and display these moments and emotions for all to see. Hymmion gifts his followers with creativity and imagination, so it is no surprise his worshippers comprise of musicians, dancers, bards, poets, and anyone who seeks true art and inspiration.
Creatives drawn to a life of flash, fame, and vanity are not welcomed by worshippers of Hymmion. Instead, storytellers and students who crave pure art over material gain are drawn to Hymmion’s teachings. These followers commonly worship through meditation, with which they find clarity of mind and inspiration to create.
Hymmion had several important feats in the Worlds First War that he is fondly remembered for such as working together with Vastile to seal away the Storm Heralds Zeru and Eteri into the elemental planes. As well as a tremendous victory over Asmodeus himself, with the help of Kriegen they banished Asmodeus out of the sky's and down into the Nine Hells. It is said that this Victory is one of the things that helped turn the tides against Noctus's troops.

Artifacts

The Origins of Art - A rumored collection of art pieces created by Hymmion himself. It is said that each time he taught humanity a new form of art he created one example for them to keep to look onto for inspiration. It is said if an artist sees the piece that created the medium that drives him he will be overcome with creativity and create the best work of his life.

Hymmions sees rules as to restrictive so instead he just asks his followers to do their best at the following

Holidays

The Twin Chains: This day is used to celebrate Vastile and Hymmion and their triumphant victory over the storm heralds Zer and Eteri. To remember and thank the gods for fighting this difficult battle the people gather in town and split into groups of two they are then handcuffed together and must search for the two hidden statues of Zer and Eteri. Once a statue is found one of group members must handcuff their other hand to the statue and bring the statue back to the center of the village ( While the statues are small they are carved out of a very heavy wood and is difficult to move. ) Any group who brings back a statue is rewarded. ( It is most common to have a father and son group up to represent the bond between Vastile and Hymmion.
The Glowing Night- During this time when the fireflies are at peek numbers people go out during the day collecting them and turning them into glowing paint. Once the sun sets those in the village begin to paint each other marking them with pictures or runes some use this as a method of confessing love or a secret while most just use it to wish good luck or health. The paint glows brightly on the skin lasting till the next morning. Many elders spend the day telling children stories of how the god Hymmion was inspired to create the first work of art after seeing the beautiful glow of these fireflies.

History

Not long after having her first child Rylai would give birth to another, this time is was a son named Hymmion. Hymmion always seemed to be distracted like he was seeing a different universe from everyone else. All Hymmion wanted was to fly through the cosmos traveling the sky's and seeing what it all has to offer. Because of this every time Rylai would leave on her search Hymmion always begged to join and was always quickly denied. Each time Rylai would leave again she would spar with him to deem if he was ready and finally to the surprise of all one day she didnt deny him after there match. She allowed Hymmion to join her Hymmion would join in many battles and see many different aspects of the universe all of this would aid him later on be it inspiration for a new art piece or the training he received in battle.

History

Lodern was more then overjoyed when he heard the news that him and Rylai were expecting another child this time it was a boy a son named Hymmion. Hymmion was always a unique child he saw the universe through different eyes then his peers and while Lodern didn't see what Hymmion saw he always supported his son. They would end up growing their bond each time they visited Talos as one thing Lodern did understand was his sons fascination of Mortals. Hymmion seeing how his father taught these mortal beings planned to do dedicate his life to doing the same thing one day. The pair would see each other less while Hymmion joined his mother on her search but the pair would work together again down the line to inspire and help mortals all across Talos.

History

While many didnt see Hymmion's version of the cosmos Strahl understood very well you see he new Hymmion saw the universe like a canvas full of possibilities the same way Strahl looks at his materials before he creates them that how Hymmion looks at everything. With this understanding of each other Hymmion would spend time with Strahl whenever he could. When Rylai finally said she would allow Hymmion to join her Strahl went right to work. It is said that Strahl stayed working tirelessly never leaving his anvil until his newest work was complete. He created one of his best if not the best set of armor he ever created calling it the golden eagle armor it covered Hymmions body and wings. With Hymmions training from his mother and his armor from his grandfather Hymmion became an unbeatable combatant in the sky.

History

Hymmion was known throughout the universe for his creation of art and all its mediums, he could and would create art out of or about anything. Even with this one thing always held Hymmion's attention his favorite muse was always the moon no matter the phase. Hymmion had thousands of paintings, drawing, and more of the moon so imagine his awe at the goddess that was formed from the moon itself. He instantly fell for Evamire and after some time of courting the two began a relationship without the knowledge of the other gods. Hymmion knew the gods would disapprove due to her being a creation of Noctus but he couldn't believe she could be so evil coming from something as captivation as the moon. Hymmion continued to believe this until he stopped hearing or seeing Evamire this continued on until he finally discovered her amongst the stars he could tell something was wrong and after a heated argument she attacked him and they clashed. Hymmion discovered the truth that they had a son named Kriegen but as Evamire was a daughter of Noctus she gave the child to be trained to join Noctus's forces. Hymmion quickly gathered the other gods and lead the charge to save his son. Hymmion and the gods managed to save Kriegen and after time was able to wipe away Noctus evil taint on the child. Hymmion and Evamire have never spoken since their last battle against each other.

History

Unlike most father's Hymmion would meet his son for the first time on a battlefield, this is all thanks to Kriegen's mother Evamire who gave the young god over to Noctus to be raised against the other gods. Hymmion thankfully lead an assault saving his son, it seems that however fast it may have been being under Noctus presence did affect the child. When he was young Kriegen was angry and destructive always lashing out and trying to fight. Hymmion was surprised by his son's actions but did the best he could and in the end came up with a plan. Hymmion would help his son tame this darkness having Kriegen focus his anger into battle. After this Kriegen slowly became a different person until Hymmion felt ready to show him Talos in all its beauty, Kriegen was amazed and the two started to bond over helping the land and mortals. As Kriegen grew he began to look after the beast of Talos specifically making sure the evil that once tainted him doesn't do the same to those on Talos. The father-son duo proved themselves again and again during the first was but are best known for teaming up together to banish Asmodeus out of the sky and down into the Nine Hells.

History

As much as Vastile always stayed by his fathers side he would never say no to spending time with his grandfather Hymmion, some of his favorite memories were riding through the clouds with Hymmion. As Vastile grew older Hymmion began to help in his training letting Vastile learn aerial combat from the best there was. The two fought together several times during the first war most notably their victory in battle against the storm heralds Zeru and Eteri.

Divine Goals

Hymmion always strove toward peace between the gods, attempting to create several meetings to discuss a cease-fire. This was until a betrayal on Nocus's side almost costing the lives of several gods. After this Hymmion was determined if speaking wouldn't work then he'd strive to attain peace by any means possible. He will never forget the times of harmony and joy the gods first experienced in Talos and will never stop trying to return things to as they were then.
