The God of Kings

Vastile is commonly referred to as the God of heroes as he embodies every trait of a great warrior. It is said the Vastile has never run from battle and has always met his opponent head-on with a flurry of skill and strength.
Vastile personifies the glory of victory, honorable combat, and physical competition. He is the steadfast god of honor and victory in battle, proving himself over and over again during the First War. With each victory, the eradication of evil continued and his follower count grew seeing his deeds in battle. Many whisper that this is when his followers started splitting into two groups of very different beliefs.
The first group are those that uphold honor above all, even in the heat of battle they will prioritize protecting the weak above all. These men and women will always take up arms to help their fellow man but also know when it is time to sheath their weapons. The second group is one that took goodness and honor to its extreme and sought the utter annihilation of even the tiniest traces of evil in the whole of existence. These followers believe that true honor is cleaning the realms of any darkness and will stop at nothing to accomplish this task. These two beliefs would clash and split apart many ages later. 

Artifacts

Excalibur - There are many that would claim this weapon to be the strongest in the god's arsenal. It is said that Strahl was overtaken by inspiration after having a vision on the day of Vastile's birth, after this vision, he locked himself away in his forge working tirelessly until he completed his masterpiece. Some claim that this is just the beginning of the story as apparently Vastile hid Excalibur somewhere in the land waiting for when a king worthy enough to rise up to claim it.

Tenets of Faith

The world needs heroes. Stand up for the oppressed and help those in need. Evil takes many forms, but if one looks hard enough, the righteous will ultimately see through whatever disguise it chooses to hide behind. Vastile has but one main rule believing that his followers will always uphold themselves as honorable warrior's regardless of a set or rules. - Conduct battle and life with honor and courage, and stay true to your word

Holidays

The Twin Chains: This day is used to celebrate Vastile and Hymmion and their triumphant victory over the storm heralds Zer and Eteri. To remember and thank the gods for fighting this difficult battle the people gather in town and split into groups of two they are then handcuffed together and must search for the two hidden statues of Zer and Eteri. Once a statue is found one of group members must handcuff their other hand to the statue and bring the statue back to the center of the village ( While the statues are small they are carved out of a very heavy wood and is difficult to move. ) Any group who brings back a statue is rewarded. ( It is most common to have a father and son group up to represent the bond between Vastile and Hymmion.

History

Yoshino is the Goddess of Talos and fertility so no one could doubt the amazing mother that she would become. She had every moment that wasn't dedicated to Talos to her son, at first they were inseparable but slowly it became apparent that the young boy was much more aligned with his father. Although Vastile started spending more time with his father Yoshino never stopped teaching and raising the boy, in fact Yoshino even trusted her son with seeing over the mortal rulers on Talos to tell if they were worthy for the role.

History

A father and son relationship that rivals even Strahl and Lordern. From his first moment, Vastile has always admired his father and has done everything he can to follow in his steps. As soon as he was able to Kreigen began training his son and Vastile took right to loving every moment. There was only one lesson the two didn't agree on, Vastile valued honor above all and didn't believe some of the military tactics Kreigen used as honorable. Once Vastile was ready the pair began protecting Talos side by side normally turning battles into a competition. They continued on like this until the First War where the two both became legendary leaders who were terrifying to verse on the battlefield.

History

As much as Vastile always stayed by his fathers side he would never say no to spending time with his grandfather Hymmion, some of his favorite memories were riding through the clouds with Hymmion. As Vastile grew older Hymmion began to help in his training letting Vastile learn aerial combat from the best there was. The two fought together several times during the first war most notably their victory in battle against the storm heralds Zeru and Eteri.
