Description

Nestled amongst the residential cottages of Emberwood Village, the Bark and Buzzard is a small one-story public house and a popular spot for locals and adventurers seeking a peaceful and laid-back place to unwind. The sign hanging above the door depicts a cartoonish vulture feasting on the entrails of a bloodhound, both smiling pleasantly.
The public house has a cozy and familial character; there is no proper bar, nor any walls separating the kitchen from the dining room. Instead, a few benches are arranged beside the main cask, and about a dozen round tables surround an inviting hearth.

Inhabitants

The Alsberg family has run the business for generations. Karrin and Holger Alsberg are the current owners and well-liked by locals and adventurers alike.
Also, the animated armor Rattlecan can be found behind the house, where brave patrons can challenge it to a game of Kick the Can.

Wares

The owners brew a fine beer known as Ember Ale and serve hearty braised lamb stew with freshly baked bread. Additionally, travelers can come here to rent one of the surrounding residential cottages.
