Larislouz

Larislouz is a northern country of barren, rock landscape. It is the only country to cross The Lonely Line. It has almost no earth-soil and almost no greenery of any kind; there is only 1 tree in the entire country. Most of Larislouz is sloping basin topography, with steppe mountains descending to the lowest points.
This land is best known for its sinister impression and practicers of dark magic and black magic.

Only the northern areas of the country are inhabited, the long southern stretch consisting solely of super-roads for moving cities.

Despite its substantial possession of roadways, Larislouz is known for having very little border or road patrol laws. Larislouz citizens themselves do not use roads; there are no roads in the entire country besides the moving city super-roads, which are kept completely separate from the rest of the land mass.
This creates an ironic situation in which moving cities are constantly passing through, but it is impossible to actually reach any point in the country via moving city.

Larislouz has no closed cities or even semi-closed areas, being entirely true-air.

Very few people visit Larislouz, and its people are secretive and closed off in nature, rarely allowing foreigners insight into their culture or daily lives. Much speculation has been made of this - mostly with negative, sinister connotations.

To the rest of the world, Larislouz is probably best known for being the setting of countless ghost stories, Vampire lore and history, tales of the supernatural, and of horrifying monsters.
While the extent of truth to this is unknown, it is true that the country attracts practicers of the dark arts and Black Magic, which is not considered inherently evil in Larislouz. It is one of the only places in the northwest where such things can be practiced, and even taught, openly. However, the country has harsh laws on the uses of Black Magic, and offenders are immediately put to death. These laws are not shared with foreigners, who are consequentially left unsure of the specifics of what is allowed and what will get them swiftly executed.

Larislouz's northern area above The Lonely Line is even more sparsely populated and remote than the already isolated middle area.
Both divisions of the country share the vast basin and descending steppe mountain landscape. The northern area has more greenery than the middle, though greenery of any kind is still incredibly rare. The only tree in the country is located on the northwestern border.

Lennar
-40
Lennar shares an enormous amount of its eastern border with Larislouz, a sinister name to most - but Lennarians generally consider themselves too practical to believe "ghost stories," or to trouble themselves with their neighbor's reputation. Nevertheless, the two lands are still contentious due to the vast super-roads that lie just over Lennar's borders, within Larislouz. As road control makes up a large percentage of Lennar's economy, the government has long coveted these highways, especially because Larislouz has notoriously lax road control, much to Lennar's frustration.
