Lennar

Lennar is a country directly bordering the Thes'set Desert to the west, and the westernmost country directly south of The Lonely Line. Its capital city is Lennarden.
The country has a desert landscape, with planned areas of greenery and small forests interspersed throughout the country.
Almost all of its cities are closed cities. The country is densely populated and entirely developed, except for two substantial wilderness areas: The Desert of Machines and the Kham Desert.
Apart from its capital, the most notable cities of Lennar are the glitzy Harlow in the south and Herest in the north.

Structure

Lennar's hierarchy and rulership structure is very politically focused. They classify themselves as a democracy, their President and other important politicians being elected. However, only certain citizens are allowed to vote in elections, and not everyone's vote holds the same worth. The President is appointed alongside his wife, the Presidentress, who also holds substantial power; this dynamic greatly affects votes. Considering these aspects, Lennar would be more accurately defined as an epistocracy, elective monarchy, or as an oligarchy.
Other nations have also criticized Lennar's use of marketing techniques interwoven into their politics.

Culture

Lennar has a distinctive, regimented culture. Despite its proximity to the Thes'set Desert and other wilderness areas, the country is very orderly and developed. Lennarians pride themselves for being "civilized," for living mainly in closed cities, and for being organized and structured.
Lennar places high importance on roads, linear lines, and social norms. The country is generally very safe. They have a strong police presence, and local police officers are often viewed as celebrities.
Many visitors say that everywhere in Lennar looks the same, and find the architecture, cities, and roads overly uniform.
The people of Lennar generally have a straightforward, practical nature. Their government is known to strictly control the roadways of the moving cities and charge high taxes. They also have a very high amount of moving-city roads everywhere in the country. A stereotype about Lennarians is that they are strangely obsessed with roads.

Demography and Population

Lennar is densely populated, but cities and towns rarely feel overly crowded, as the population is widely spread out. Lennar's demographics are predominantly comprised of humans.
The affluence and high development level of the country has resulted in general good health. The average lifespan is 85 years of age, which is considered normal to high for humans. 90% of deaths are due to natural causes.
74% of men have been married by age 40, and 90.6% of women have been married by age 40. The average number of children that a couple will have is 2. The average age of a Lennarian citizen is 38.2 years.

Race Laws in Lennar
Lennar has exceptionally strict, inhibiting Race Laws, which prevents individuals of other races from gaining any notable prescence in Lennar. Non-humans who reside in or pass through can expect to be subjected to discriminatory practices. Although racial violence is not unheard of, it is unlawful, and the discrimination is more commonly exhibited in prevalent social norms.

Lennar shares an enormous amount of its eastern border with Larislouz, a sinister name to most - but Lennarians generally consider themselves too practical to believe "ghost stories," or to trouble themselves with their neighbor's reputation. Nevertheless, the two lands are still contentious due to the vast super-roads that lie just over Lennar's borders, within Larislouz. As road control makes up a large percentage of Lennar's economy, the government has long coveted these highways, especially because Larislouz has notoriously lax road control, much to Lennar's frustration.
