Jagerfly Guild
This guild makes up the bulk of most cities military, guards, bodyguards, and adventurers. Those looking for a sword for hire or someone to vent out to the desert to guard caravans this Guild takes care of that.
Structure
The hierarchy of the Jagerfly Guild is based of mission successes and notoriety.
Guildmasters sit at the top of the guild in every city, but then there are the companies that are formed within the Guild.
Companies rise in notoriety with each mission they complete. As they complete missions their fame goes up and so to does their hiring rates. All members of the guild are fighters of some sort. Or at least have combat abilities. The guild runs more of a linear ranking system unless you become really famous.
Example:
A newly formed company and fresh blooded gladiator hold the same ranking within the guild. However, the gladiator wins more and more matches and the company only takes a few easy jobs. Eventually, the gladiator will outrank every member of the company because of his/her fame and notoriety. People have hear of the gladiator, but people don't know about the company performing tasks.
Culture
Jagerflies live by their contracts. They don't deviate from them. Companies or members that do are severely punished. They live by their word and law. It is important otherwise no one would ever hire guild members. Jagerflies are known above all else to be honest and hard workers.
