Dawn Session 6: Cholain

The players will start the session as they arrive at the village of Cholain, the exclave of Daa'ima from Omadu to the south of The Cradle

As the players arrive, they will notice a group of villagers in a meeting in the middle of the village. Should the players investigate, they will learn that the Chief Arbiter of Cholain, the Daa'ima Nofre Amenset and Moul Samrin, a successful Elven farmer, are in the process of asking the assembled villagers if they have any information on the Numen, who they will name. Without any luck from the villagers, they may turn their attention to the recently arrived players and ask if they have any information. They may also invite the players to the Abbey, where they will share the following information.

Several days ago a strange, humanoid figure appeared in the village. They were human in form, but appeared as a "wound" in the universe. One could see through them and gaze into an infinite plane of stars, planets, and galaxies. When they first arrived they were unable to speak, but learned Common remarkably quickly. They had no idea who they were, or where they came from, but knew that they had awoken within a cracked, black sphere.

After the Numen's arrival, Nofre had communed with her deity, Luumis, and had learned that he was a gift from the gods. Nofre and the villagers had taken to calling him the Numen, or a divine spirit in their tongue.

Last night, the Numen had gone missing. The villagers have so far been unable to find them, and leads have been scarce.

Should the players speak with Kames Anzety, they may find out that he aided in the smuggling of the Numen onto a fishing boat, destined for the island nation of Aramore. If the players are successful in their interrogations, they may be able to discover that the Numen's abduction was coordinated by the Yuan-Ti Ascendancy
