Magnus Vein
Magnus Vein, called Magnus the Lover, was a priest at the Temple of the Stream. He is the bastard half brother of Desmond Cayn. It is said he is responsible for eleven bastard children. He sired the bastard Ryan Moore on Elyn Moore. He was maimed and exiled from the lands of House Moore by Arthur Moore, Elyn's father. He has become a hedge wizard, trading spells and tricks for mead and bread.

Magnus is a tall man. He is considered ruggedly handsome. He has black hair and a stubble beard with pointed ears and a sharp nose. He only has one hand, maimed by Arthur Moore.
