The Northman's Betrayal

The Northman's Betrayal was a battle fought during The Three Days War between the Royal Forces of Majik and the army of Careem's ally, Lord Frode the Stranger. It took place through just in the two rivers known as the Twins.

Prelude

After the Slaughter at Felyn, Ser Merrick Cayn and Lord Donnal Merry had been chasing the survivors of the battle through the southern part of Majik. Andor, Bjorn, Thrain, and Sigurd all found refuge at Lord Frode's estate. The survivors managed to convince the Northman to join Careem's side and fight for his freedom.

Battle

Merrick and Lord Donnal had brought their soldiers into Haraldstown for a rest when Merrick recieved a raven from Lord Frode, stating that he had found the survivors of Felyn and offered to hand them over, for a price. Merrick lead his soldiers up past the twins and saw the banners of the Lord Frode, he rode up to meet but instead of receiving a greeting he was attacked. Frode's host flanked Merricks men and forced him to flee back across the rivers. Merrick lost over half of his men, and Lord Donnal was captured.
