Trigger
Trigger is a warforged spell and gunslinger, best known for his unwavering sense of justice.
Trigger was born a slave, as all warforged were. Unlike most of his kin, his soul was born imbued with a powerful and innate connection to the Weave. After all warforged were emancipated by decree from Bogdan Barrelback, Trigger was spared -- at least initially -- from a life of aimless wandering when a sympathetic artificer took the young warforged under his wing. This artificer taught Trigger how to hone his innate powers, and gifted him with a sacred symbol of artificer pride; the first ever imbued six-shooter.
Trigger's new sense of belonging was robbed of him when his mentor, an avowed abolitionist, was murdered by bitter partisans. While Ilithian society may have moved on, but some wounds are slow to heal.
Six-shooter in hand, Trigger avenged his friend. He knew a society that wasn't sure whether it celebrated or feared what he was could accept the actions he'd taken, and so he left, to forge a destiny of his own.
Shortly after, Trigger met the party which would become the Knights of Rennfreid. He became the enforcer; the guy who was willing to get his hands dirty if it meant scrubbing the world free of something evil. At times, his zeal for exacting revenge on the evildoers of the world crossed into brutality. A key example of this is his "hamburger box," a tiny metal cage into which polymorphed enemies were placed and subsequently un-polymorphed. The result was always explosive.
For reasons of his own, Trigger has since separated from the group, instead spending much of his time in the areas around Hilltop and Rennfreid. While he still works to serve the realm, his exact activities remain a mystery.
