Ikanos III (I-car-nos)
The Last King of Valonia
King Ikanos Rarmon, The Third (a.k.a. Ikanos the Coward)
Ikanos III was the Valonian king. Reigning between 48 VE to 30 BVE, he was the sixteenth and last king of Kingdom of Valonia, before being overthrown and killed by Dominus of Kritus as a result of the kingdom losing to the empire in the War of the Old Lord.
Inheriting the name Ikanos for the third time (I, II), he was the eldest son of Punous III, the husband of Hopia Tanilius, and the father of Valus, who later overthrew the Kritus and reclaimed the throne - and his prestige.
Today, I'd like to talk about our future, which I promise will only start looking better. Ikanos was found last night running away from the city. We saw him with a bag of treasure and unfortunately managed to escape. Such a disgraceful behavior for such an admirable foe!
Because of his cowardice, there is no one left from the previous royal family, and here's where I step in. In the name of Dominus, I declare myself the new king of Valonia....
Physical Description
Specialized Equipment
He permanently wore The Ring of Val, a royal accessory that only the king of Valonia were allowed to wear. It was passing down for fifteen kings since Val The Great. Unknowningly to him, he was going be the last wearer.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
He was born and raised in 71 BVE under the Rarmon Dynasty. During that time, it was the golden age. The economy was skyrocketed, and no wars to be involved for centuries. Like what his ancestries did, he maintained the glory and perfect the treasury. As he thought nothing could go wrong, the Empire of Kritus suddenly declared war on him. Within 2 years of invasion under the commands of general Dominus and Arvarus, the only free city of Valonian left was the one he stood and vowed to protect.
Ikanos realized that not only this declining empire still have large army, they comes up with more advanced equipments and tactics unlike his which looked as same as two centuries ago. He tried his best to defend the empire as much as he could. Unfortunately, there was no preveil. And by the time the second months came, Dominus' company was entering his throne room.
He was forced to call out Hopia and other members to the furthest, deepest hall in the palace. And with the swing of Dominus' gladius passing his neck, it's over - and the rest was followed. To make sure no one could reclaim the throne, the legioneries hunted down the hidden members, one by one. The company dumped all bodies into the sea that night and falsify him in the next morning, seversely damaging his reputation.
I know the country had lost too many children, too many husbands under the rule of your royal family. But we could fix that, as I, the represent of the Kritus, we know exactly what the people need. We came from the same traditions. We have the same language. And we believe in the same gods. We learned that our empire used to help building your city, and we have never been so proud of how this city turn out to be.So, I want to let very clear that my first wish as new king will be to restore what we have lost! To bring this country back to its golden days! Together! Stronger than ever!
Education
He was studied Royal Research Academy, managed by his relative, Indus one of the six royal families who help teaching about his country, as well as the essential of leadership like laws, social studies, and Rarmon traditions. He immediately became the king after Punous' death, and coronated as the sixteenth king in 48 BVE - all in the same year.

He married to Hopia of Tanilius, the family associated with the kingdom's taxation and commerce. He had several children, including Valus.
