Rornildon Purestrike
Rornildon was one of the great Terrania heroes. He was a key part of the The Zurlandor Crisis while a member of The Fireheart Oath.
Rornildon was already a seasoned warrior by the age of 20. He had cut his teeth on the battlefields of Drachenium. He saw action against the Goblins in the North, and the Gith in the west. His time on battlefields filled Rornildon's heart with immense fatalism. He sensed his life would be short and end violently. Therefore, he endeavored to see the world before it ended, and he set off for Terrania. Over the next few years, he acted as a soldier of fortune in Jippon, Madrinada, and Varangia. He eventually ended up in Eridenne where he crossed blades with Cassandra Lionheart and Twilda Goldhammer on opposite sides of contracts. Cassandra immediately saw his apparent and prolific skills with the blade and eventually persuaded him to join them for much more lucrative exploits. He immediately disliked Twilda, and the two constantly fought. At the end of the Zurlander Crisis, as he and his Oathsworn compatriots clashed with Dark Sun , he realized this was his end. But this was the perfect place to die, against the greatest foe he ever crossed blades with. As he readied himself for one last charge, he saw Twilda recklessly charging Dark Sun. Knowing she would be meet her end too soon, Rornildon leapt into action: taking the massive final blow meant for Twilda, and pushing her to safety. In his last moments he watched Twilda charge off towards Dark Sun once again, and he passed with a smile upon his face. It was a good death, one befit for a warrior.
