Twilda Goldhammer
Cassandra was one of the great Terrania heroes. She was a key part of the The Zurlandor Crisis while a member of the The Fireheart Oath .
Twilda left her home city of in Dwarvinum at a very young age. Not satisfied with the artisan's life high in the mountains of Dwarvinum, she set off of Terrania in hopes of adventure. She arrived in Perfume Bay and ended up staying for a few years and lived in the Dwarven section of the Umbregia Quarter. She spent most of her time down in the Gond Alley, perfecting her craft and forming a bond with the Temple of Gond. It is here she learned the ways using her tools for battle. She spent a number of years afterward completing contracts for the The Acastus Consortium and eventually ended up in Eridenne, Ankerya . There she met Cassandra Lionheart , forming an inseparable bond. It's through Cassadra she met Erron Boldensoul and Rornildon Purestrike . She immediately formed a fierce rivalry with Rornildon, as their opinions on anything was opposed. The constant bickering between the two almost caused a breakup of the crew on multiple occasions. At the end of the The Zurlandor Crisis deep below in Dark Sun 's Ziggurat Twilda witnessed the unthinkable. Far and long in their ferocious battle with Dark Sun, she saw Foy Tigerstrike take a huge attack, throwing her deep down into the abyss. Twilda went into a blind rage, charging Dark Sun recklessly. Twilda's attack were effortlessly blocked, resulting in her taking a few heavily reprisals. As Dark Sun went for the killing blow, Twilda accepted her end; but before impact, Rornildon stepped in; taking the blow and pulling her to safety. Twilda, thinking Rorildon was still alive, reentered the melee. It wasn't until after Weston Qwellmar whisked the remaining party away to safety did she realize he had died. Twilda forgo the rewards for her service to Ankerya and volunteered to return Rornildon's body to his family back in Drachenium. She stayed there for a number of years, living with his family. But no matter how sweet and supportive they were for her, she still felt great sadness and guilt. She returned to her home city in Dwarvinum where she lived a quiet simple life with her family. She returned to Terrania once, to spend some time with Cassandra in her last days.
