Tiefling

Tieflings are a subgroup of the humans in Terrania . While many humans carry the blood of Internal and Abyssal ancestors, not all have their blood "ignited". Siblings of the same parents can be both fully human and Tiefling. The most famous is Kronli Oathsworn ; one of Terranians greatest heroes.

History

Like Aasimar many tieflings can trace their lineage to the The Terranian Awakening . The interaction and proximity with and to the Abyss and Infernal imbued many humans; both willing and unwilling; with their powers. Now being said, not all can trace their lineage back that far. As the historical and current records indicate the abyss and infernal still have a presence on our plane. Many theorize the unfortunate fools who barter their souls with devils and demons will pass along their error to subsequent generations. For a long time throughout Terrania the Tieflings were persecuted and ostracized for their otherworldly connections. However, thankfully, this is a relic of a bygone age.

Traits

Unlike their Aasimar cousins, Tieflings have significantly different physical characteristics than their human brethren. The color of their skin can manifest in a wide range of shades and colors. Many tieflings also possess large thick horns of various styles on their heads, tails approximately 4 to 5 feet in length. Their eyes are solid orbs of red, black, white, silver, or gold. They have naturally exceptional eyesight in the dark and a resilience to heat and fire.
