Omo No Kage

Omo no Kage- or Lord of Shadows- is the title granted to the commaner of Kakureta. Though the forest and the village contained within it does not belong to a clan, its people are still subjects of the emperor, no matter how few people are aware of this fact. And thus, a governor of sorts is required to correspond with the emperor and His servants, and to disseminate His orders down to the agents who will fulfill them. The Kage is also the leader of the Sentobu Black Ops force, the subdivision of shinobi responsible for the assassination of major military and political figures. During the 10 Shogun war, and even in the current fight against the Laozi, the Sentobu are only deployed in dire circumstances, as the sudden mysterious death of an enemy commander stirs doubt even in the most stalwart servant of Emperor Hanzo. Though for the past 25 years Ganjiro Shinomura was the Kage, in absence of his younger brother, the current Omo no Kage is Hokuto Shinomura, after a myseterious hiatus. But due to the advanced age of these two men, the future of this title remains unclear...
