The Tomb - The Hoard Vault
General Summary
At the bottom of the (improvised) shaft beyond the doors, the Heroes land on a massive pile of gold and treasure, sliding to the bottom. When they all shook off the stupor of the strange dreamstate, Asgeir was missing and Kovu was catatonic. Assuming Asgeir was off stealing from the bad guys again, the others focused on Kovu. Using their lore and medical knowledge the three diagnosed the condition as the supposedly incurable "fae-sleep" that lasts until the body withers from lack of food. The three used a strange trick, banishing the fae magic with a pinch of Dain's powdered cold iron and the combined efforts of Tim and Tesselle.
Down the ramp at the end of the room, strange bestial voices chatter in that strange guttural draconic language. Then one begins to wail in song, accompanied by a strangely familiar voice and an unfamiliar instrument. Tesselle is jamming out, while Tim looks on in horror at the dancing mage.
"You know things you'd get killed for knowing and work with dark magical powers most wizards wouldn't ever think to call on. And that's fine. But this is where I draw the line."
