Hidden Lord

God of Chains, the Hidden Lord, seeks total freedom and will murder everything and everyone on his path. His followers seem to be "strange" by some standard, their cults might feel contradictory to their actions like for example, they would gladly imprison others while granting freedom only to themselves. His clerics build secret cults deep down in the Undertethys, only sometimes going to the surface. They seek a way to release their deity from his prison.

History

The Hidden Lord is an enigma. He existed since the start of the Second Age, Godswar and his contributions to the war effort were almost none. He spent most of his days in the Undertethys, many believing that it is his realm. For millennia to come this didn't change, until The Second Divergence, when he awoken. Those in the Forgotten Lands speak of a similar being that ruled their underground tunnels. He sought to break the chains of others, while at the same time break his own. When their world was destroyed, he was freed. If you believe the First World, the awakening and sudden increase in followers would be explained. The Hidden Lord of Tethys is a part of the one in the First World, this part was locked by the First Gods, hoping that he wouldn't escape and maybe evolve into a more powerful being (like those Beings Beyond). His dogma was recently revealed as up to this moment, his clerics would die if they tried to tell what their master wanted.

Dogma

  • Seek to break the chains, freedom must be deserved
  • Your life is a prison, know its boundaries
  • The world under is my domain, make others remember it
  • Relationships with other Gods

He has no relationships with other gods. Some speculate theĀ First Gods might seek to destroy him.
