Osor-mor
The kingdom of Osor-mor was once a passive kingdom, set to only defend the Bel-durad Mountains, the holy land of the dwarves. Their Warden-kings changed, becoming more aggressive in their approach, taking lands and names. Their holy books list duchies, families, houses, and people who disrespected their mountains and The Great Sky Forge. To them is heresy and they do not shy from violence as they've shown before by taking duchies to the east of them. Now, new conflict brews with the Divine Empire as the dwarves of the mountain demand their ancient land back.
History
The Bel-durad Mountains are the holy land of the dwarven race. It is here their patron god, Urist Thunder, brought his people from exile. It is here that they built their first kingdom, not counting those that they took over by rebelling against the Duergar. Their kings were called Warden-Kings as their job was not to rule, wage war or go into the political world but to safeguard the holy mountains, the temples, and shrines from devastation. Other kingdoms would donate part of their wealth to finance these endeavors. Thus, they were mostly left alone during the Third Age, Kingdoms by the major powers of the world. It was in the Fourth Age, The Calamity that their fortresses were put to the test and while they put a good fight, they ultimately lost as many of the Duergar helped in the fight. Centuries before, the War of the Underworld helped them to find passageways and gaps in their defences, allowing the Iconian Empire to completely take over the mountains. The temples and shrines were razed to the ground, something the Duergar weren't able to do in the previous conflict, only take half of the mountains before the war ended. When they were defeated, the dwarves returned and started rebuilding. Tragedy struck again as the calamity hit and the Fifth Age, Current Age dawned. Over the centuries, they were able to rebuild but the politics changed much. Their Warden-Kings stopped being passive in their political game. The western part of the mountains, the dwarves took over duchies in the Shimmering Flats and the Olive Coast, citing that those duchies stole from their temples and shrines and this is was the repayment for the crime. When they set their eyes upon the eastern part, they were too late as the Divine Empire was revived. Now, the clerics demand their mountain ranges back and the duchies to repay for what they "stole". The Divine Empire isn't giving an inch, especially after signing an alliance with the Alliance of Five Crowns. This might turn bloody when the warrior-priests will take what was theirs by force. The rebellion in the Divine Empire might be the spark the dwarves will use to invade.
