Urist Thunder
Urist Thunder is seen as the father of all dwarves. His followers seek to do good for the dwarven race, keep to traditions with religious fervor and despise slavery with a passion. Freedom is worth every sacrifice. Most will work as stonemasons, metalcrafters, or smiths.
Raise your hammer high. Break your chains by creating works of metal and stone.
Do not chain others. Taking someone's free will is vile. Seek to their rescue.
Traditions make culture, they are the foundation of civilization. Adhere to them.
History
Some from the First World Theory believe that Urist Thunder is a god from their world, who awoke to save his people. There is some similarity to that of Tethys. Urist was a Volcano Dwarf during the Second Age, Godswar, where he was found guilty by his peers for helping other races. His keep disallowed such behavior, even if he has done so as repayment for helping the dwarves themselves. For his punishment, Stone Fall, where a dwarf is put into a rectangle hole and a cubic stone is put to block it. The workmanship is perfect, so the stone slowly descends down, a centimeter every hour. Crushing the dwarf inside in matter of days. When the punishment was over, the stone was removed but his body wasn't there. Betrayal, somebody betrayed the holy traditions and a purge went on in the keep, all the enemies of the king were sentenced to death. However, everybody was innocent, Urist didn't die in the hole, he ascended. When the worst was to come, he reappeared to his people, cleaned from the dusty, magma skin and saved his people, taking them from the keep. His word, The Dwarven Word, would spread far and wide. The Volcano dwarves would split into the Duergar and Azer, with The Great Sky Forge blessing, they would be cleansed of their sin, turning into the Mountain and Hill dwarves respectively. Urist would fought more wars for his people, turning into a Greater Deity and becoming the patron of all Dwarves.Dogma
Relationships with other Gods
Everybody in The Great Sky Forge are his allies, even the duergar god Ashen Axe but disagrees with him on many occasions, still not forgiving the duergars for past sins. Urist has a close relationship with the Divine King and is willing to work with the Elder Pantheon. However, most of the time, he doesn't care for non-dwarf matters.Cleric Domains
