Ruins of Phlegathar

Phlegathar was once the center of attention for the devils (mainly for those that wanted less to do with the fighting). During the Second Age, Godswar, they formed a small nation with their new mortal slaves called Phlegathar. It didn't survive when the Third Age, Kingdoms dawned and the Tieflings revolted against the Devils. The cities of Phlegathar were set ablaze and destroyed, never to be rebuilt. After the Fourth Age, The Calamity, these lands were once again destroyed but with it came something. Thought by many as a trick of the Devils - gold in the rivers. Many flock to Phlegathar to get rich, starting in the Wild Gold Rush. The ruins still are abandoned and used by the necromancers of Xaan to their benefit. Maybe something still lurks here?
