The Diplomat

The First Death

The Diplomat, a key figure amongst the Titans of Tethys, was the embodiment of communication and understanding. Harnessing the Life Spark energies, he mastered the language of expression in all its forms - be it sound, dance, or the written word. The Diplomat had a crucial role, teaching both Titans and mortals the art of communication, a skill pivotal in preventing misunderstandings and promoting unity.   When the tension between the Titans and the First Gods started to escalate, the God-Killer, one of the Titans, challenged the Gods, sparking their ire. As the Translucent Traveler, a First God, retaliated with a deadly arrow, the Diplomat intervened. The arrow, originally intended for the God-Killer, found a different target, turning the peaceful Diplomat into the first casualty of the impending Titan War. His sacrifice marked the beginning of a brutal and devastating conflict.   In the later ages of Tethys, the legacy of the Diplomat endures in the ancient language of Valoda. Said to be taught by the Diplomat himself, Valoda's magical properties make it a highly valued tool amongst the Wizards of Tethys, who use it to weave new spells and record them in their spellbooks. The Titan's influence, however, did not end there.   The Titanlar language, the original tongue of the Titans, although lost in the passage of time, is another testament to the Diplomat's efforts. Titanlar, inscribed on the remnants of ancient structures, holds mysteries and secrets of a bygone era. Although rare and difficult to find, these inscriptions offer a glimpse into the past, echoing the voice of the Diplomat and the Titans that once roamed Tethys.
