Grand Knight, Ser Vincent Florent

Vincent is the successor to Ser Melchor Fritz and current Grand Knight of the Aurelian Empire. As Grand Knight, he is also Commander of the Saber Corps as well as Empress Eunisia Rosewood's royal guard. Vincent holds the highest possible rank within the Empire's army and has supreme authority over the military.

Impregnable Shield

Although a competent swordsman, Vincent is not known for his skill with the blade. Unlike his predecessor, he is a master of shield enhanced combat, creating air-tight defenses and bolstering his defenses with magical wards and other protective enchantments. His defense is nigh impregnable and once properly established, it is a herculean feat to bypass it.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Although not as physically strong as others before him, Vincent is still in excellent physical condition. As the shield that defends the Empire, he boasts incredible constitution and his physical and mental fortitude is without compare. Vincent's eyesight is rather poor and he requires glasses to see things at range.

Special abilities

Vincent is a well-trained swordsman and specializes in fighting with a tower shield. He's dabbled in the Abjuration school of magic as a way to heighten his defenses.

Specialized Equipment

Vincent wields Bastion, an enchanted tower shield that heightens his defense and fortifies his constitution to unimaginable heights.

Mental characteristics

Accomplishments & Achievements

Vincent is the youngest person to ever reach the rank of Grand Knight, accomplishing the feat at the age of 18. However, there is rumor that he was only given the title to fill the gap Ser Melchor Fritz left after his abrupt disappearance.

Morality & Philosophy

As befitting a Grand Knight, Vincent is intensely loyal to the crown and to House Rosewood  to whom he pledged fealty to. He carries out any order given to him without reservation.
