The Rosewood dynasty is the most powerful of the Empire's families and the matriarch holds supreme political, military, and economic power in the Aurelian Empire and oversees the actions the other families take, intervening at their discretion.
History
After the sibling Saint's Marcosius and Anya partitioned the continent of Seraphix and gave rise to the theocracy of Lumen and the Aurelian Empire, House Rosewood was the first family to rise to the seat of power and has remained the dominant House since then.

Territories
House Rosewood's seat of power is the Heartland, but as the ruling body, exercises its power throughout all of the Empire's territories. The Heartland occupies the north-east range of the Empire and is comprised of rolling hills, lush valleys, and verdant forests. The great Alabaster Peaks, which separate the Aurelian Empire from the Lumen Theocracy to the North, are one of the Heartland's most famous features. The Eden River, one of the Adder's tributaries, flows through the Heartland from the Alabaster Peaks and through one of Albion's districts.
Military
House Rosewood's military power stems largely from its ability to mobilize the armies of the other three Great Families. Without them, House Rosewood must rely heavily on it's fiercely loyal bannermen and the army commanded by the Grand Knight.
