Matters of the Middle Belt

A casual observer of events in Qadayen history might observe how the prominence of intellectual and technological knowledge differes between regions. The Etayen, Corgastorians, Eurobians, and Axodraharik remained consistenty superior in these categories while the Vestidians, Geldmar, Karthuulites, tribal Nevanese, and Odyrzid remained stunted and behind.   One may not comprehend the patterns of development and advancement among nations without dedicating time to enlightenment. It is an abstract unit of measure- to be enlightened. However, the depth and bredth of information in evolved throughout history, often in close relation to the Middle Belt which Levesaya introduced.   Finally, there is the growth of technology. Like enlightenment, the Middle Belt can account for the irregular distribution of breakthroughs in Everos, Etal, and western Othos in comparison to the remainder of Qadal.   Technology and science are perhaps limited by the boundaries of Eshanic and mortals means of comprehension. Observation with mundane senses is the dominant method. Can something be seen; can it be touched; and it be tasted and thus along? Everything which is known is an extension of theories derived from these means. The exceptions might be found in the realm of Nemeshir, where an additional series of stimuli prick at otherwise dormant regions of the mind. In that case, what might be considered science takes on the mystical element- common understanding is derived from common knowledge of the astounding forces beyond the world which if considered too closely are dizzying. Beyond that, Eshan and mortals ponder what other aspects of the universe are unknown or missed because of their narrow capabilities of observation.
