Gary Groudon

Gary Groudon was a student at the Library of Silentia along with Arceaus Longthorn. Gary was a fair student, only causing trouble when Arceaus provoked it.

Attack on the Library

The Library of Silentia was attacked by the Cult of Fate's End lead by Scias. The majority of the students and staff were killed, and some fled or came out injured, but it was only Arceaus and Gary who were thrown into a portal to the Nine Hells. It was there Gary died, and because of an error in the reality of the realm, was sent to Limbo as his afterlife.

Madness in Limbo

Because time works differently in Limbo than it does in other realms, Gary spent thousands of years in Limbo before he was contacted by Lady Fate. She gave him the opportunity to escape in trade for his loyalty, and through convincing and manipulation, got him to agree.

Death & Banishment

Soon after the dead was made with Lady Fate, Gary was resurrected by Arceaus. But a deal is a deal, and the wound left behind those many years in limbo had left him angry and unreasonable. With his newly gained power he killed Corrin (furthering Lady Fate's plot, see "Campaign 1: Fate's Warriors"). Once Fate's Bane reached him, Gary tried to convince Arceaus to not step up against Fate. Arceaus responded by banishing him, sending him straight back to Limbo.

Gary was born in Silentia and studied at its library. A year after joining, Arceaus Longthorn joined the school and roomed with Gary, the two of them becoming good friends.
