Nebark
Cresent of the Crimson Pond
Nebark works to survive in the middle of the Coral Forest, using wooden walls painted with Kraken's blood. In the center of town is a ginormous pond of blood that once belonged to the Kraken, town mages use this blood in their unique spells and rituals. The Wood Elves who live here are weary of strangers, not just anyone enters the Coral Forest. They are cautious and do their best to stay perceptive, making sure they can always have a quick getaway in their water/air vehicles.
United Community
The number one goal of the citizens of Nebark is to survive, leading to most people becoming incredibly generous and supportive of one another. This willingness to help does not translate to outsiders, that requires respect from the community.Points of Interest
(1) Kraken Soaked Walls
A wall of cut-down teak trees surrounds the town to protect it from creatures outside of Nebark. The Kraken's blood soaked into their bark is the foundation of an enchantment that extends an invisible wall that stretches into a dome shape, as well as makes the wall more sturdy in general. For someone to enter the town, someone inside permitted to allow access into the town must give them permission.(2) Pondside Tavern
The pond of Kraken blood is a staple of Nebark, with buildings being built around it like a crescent moon. One of these buildings sits on top of the pond, connected to the town via a bridge. This is the Pondside Tavern, the first floor has opened walls for the dancing patrons to look out over the pond and town while they drink and sing. The second floor has rooms for those who require shelter while traveling the Coral Forest. Travelers don’t need to pay while staying here but are expected to leave shortly.(3) Kraken Casters
Mages with forked beards or two long braids with visor masks long and narrow dedicate their craft here to learn more about the Kraken's magic and origin. They sell both magical services and items.(4) Wallace & Watchmen
A whale named Wallace lives in Nebark, he offers rides to citizens who need to move through the Coral Forest safely. While not transporting citizens, he either flies around Nebark or helps the City Watch keep tabs on the nearby forest.(5) Coral Clairvoyance
Enemies both humanoid and beastial lurk within the woods. To assist the City Watch with preparing for attacks, Coral Clairvoyance has created a measure of spy equipment both mundane and magical.(6) Hybrid Cruises
Other than Wallace, the elves of Nebark move about using specially made ships designed to move around the Coral Forest and can still function as a normal vessel when outside of it.(7) Wallace's Warriors
A local faction was formed to help the City Guard defend Nebark during a crisis, making Wallace their mascot. They are decent warriors themselves but when in times of trouble are more than willing to utilize outside help regardless of Nebark's usual feelings toward them.History
Campaign 2 - Sea of Storms
The Wildfire War
During Mid-Spring (138 AG) Wildfire Druids arrived in the Coral Forests. They told Nebark that they received their message allowing their presence and wanted to help restore the Coral Forests back to their original state with their powers. Nebark told them they did no such thing, being the first to start the conflict by attacking Druids working at the forest's restoration. The conflict ended a month after with the Druids being exiled to the Spring Isles.

Notes:
- The elves of Nebark woke up shortly before the Great Awakening, the exact time of which was never recorded and forgotten. Therefore, the "founding date" refers to when the settlement truly began to prosper regardless of their previous association with Sea's Appeal or the Requian Empire.
