Shipwreck

At the beginning of the golden age of piracy, a terrible battle raged by this land. Wizards belonging to the pirates ended the brawl by lifting a Requian Warship out of the waves and smashing onto the nearby island. This being the first of a few major victories for the pirates had inspired them to claim the island as the pirate capital.

A Pirate's Currency

The pirates' economy is a no-currency-based system, meaning they trade by swapping goods with each other. So when coins are referenced in this document, it's referring to the quality or worth of the goods required to obtain the wanted item or service.

Points of Interest

Daggers & Dragons

Cornelius Coppermaw is a male Dragonborn barkeep who has never really gotten along with the pirates well, unappreciative of their carefree and usually crime-provoking attitudes. To combat this, Cornelius has allowed a mercenary gang to operate in his tavern for free food and rooms. The mercenaries keep the tavern in peace while Cornelius can whip up some drinks.

Shipwreck Square

This area is dedicated to the coinless market and the Shipwreck Arena in the center of the city.   The Coinless Market. Have pirated goods you'd like to sell? Need poison for an assassination? Well, this is your place, my friend!   Shipwreck Arena. At the entrance of this huge arena is a metallic statue of Yerg Yerginsten, the man who started the golden age of piracy. The arena itself is usually empty other than its usual workers or training champions as tournaments are only done during fall.

Swashbuckler's Academy

Most pirates like the simplicity of their lives, brutality and intimidation are their way, but some like to flourish in battle and impress the competition with their charm and good looks. All aspects of the way of the swashbuckler are taught in this very academy.

Shipwreck Harbor

These docks are free for anyone to anchor here, if there isn't a docking spot available, the consequences of sinking a ship to take its spot are left entirely for the sink-y to dish out.

Captain's Quarters

The flipped warship of the original conflict that allowed the pirates to claim this area sits on top of the largest hill. Here, the Crowned Captain commands the pirate syndicate and his officers.

Shrine of the Collector

A small shrine dedicated to Ina Goddess of Knowledge, The Collector. Few of the pirates follow a specific deity, but those who do follow the Collector believe the items and treasures they steal contains information and stories worthy of her pages.
