Kalimdor
Kalimdor is one of the continents in the world of Azeroth. It is a vast and diverse landmass that is home to many different races and factions, including the night elves, tauren, trolls, and orcs.
The continent is divided into several zones, each with its own unique geography and inhabitants. These zones include the sprawling deserts of Tanaris, the lush jungles of Feralas, the volcanic wasteland of Silithus, and the treacherous peaks of Stonetalon Mountains.
One of the most iconic features of Kalimdor is the massive World Tree, Nordrassil, which is located in the region of Hyjal. It is also the site of the legendary War of the Ancients, a pivotal conflict in the lore of the game, which saw the night elves unite with other races to defeat the Burning Legion.
Other important locations in Kalimdor include the cities of Orgrimmar and Thunder Bluff, home to the Horde races, and the cities of Darnassus and Exodar, home to the Alliance races.
Kalimdor has also been the site of many major conflicts in the lore, including the Third War, the Cataclysm, and the War of the Thorns.
