Wyrmskull Pirates

The Wyrmskull Pirates are a very large group of pirates that have generally stuck to Nothrend waters that are broken down into ten clans, down from twelve. While each clan does make choices for themselves, they still all report up to a Storm King. The prior Storm King was recently defeated a new one took his place, but the name of that new king and clan is unknown, but his bride is Hyrskol.History
The Wyrmskull Pirates are a notorious pirate organization that operates primarily in the frigid waters of Northrend, although they have been known to venture further afield in search of loot and plunder. Originally, the group was divided into ten separate clans, each with their own leadership and methods of operation. However, after the events of the Pirate Council War, the organization splintered and now consists of twelve separate clans, each vying for power and influence within the group. While each clan operates independently, they all answer to the mysterious figure known only as the Storm King, whose identity remains a closely-guarded secret. Some believe that the Storm King is a powerful dragon, while others claim that he is a man blessed by the Titans themselves. There are even some who believe that the Storm King is actually a collective entity made up of all the clans working together. Despite their differences, the Wyrmskull Pirates are a fiercely loyal group, willing to fight tooth and nail to protect their interests and those of their fellow pirates. They are known for their ruthlessness, often attacking other pirate groups and even civilians without provocation. They are also known for their love of treasure and luxury goods, and will stop at nothing to get their hands on these valuable items. At one point in their history, the Wyrmskull Pirates fought with "Stone" DeSirrus, causing them to lose their seat and coin at the Pirate Council since they would not fall in line. They also suffered a significant loss of ships at some point, leading them to seek funding from Hector Astley to get new ones. In the year 23, the Wyrmskull Pirates found themselves in conflict with the Blackwater Company, as Jerard marshaled the Blackwater warmachine to take the Isle of Thieves from them. Then, in the year 24, after losing a battle on the Isle of Wrike off the coast of Northrend, Jerard pushed the full might of the pirate lords against the Wyrmskull Pirates and took the Pirate Lord Coin from them. The war efforts of the King sank every last Longship that the Wyrmskull had, sending each clan in different directions across the realm. Despite these setbacks, the Wyrmskull Pirates remain a force to be reckoned with, constantly plotting and scheming to regain their former power and influence. They are a dangerous and unpredictable group, feared by sailors and merchants alike, and their actions have had far-reaching consequences throughout Azeroth.Diplomacy
